Aethermon Mythos
Aethermon Mythos is the official web portal and interactive hub for players of an innovative AR/VR game. The web platform unites the project's ecosystem, providing trainers with a digital space to monitor progress, track global leaderboards, register for tournaments, and manage resources and elixirs outside the game client itself.
Challenge
Community Centralization: Create a single, high-performance web entry point for AR/VR players worldwide, combining the functionality of an informational portal, an esports arena, and a trainer dashboard. Game Data Synchronization: Ensure fast, seamless operation between the web hub and in-game profiles, elemental creature stats, resource balances, and real-time match data. Trading & Crafting Web Interface: Deliver an intuitive, mobile-optimized web marketplace for equipment trading, auctions, and the Lixars alchemy system. Game Atmosphere & Aesthetics: Translate the futuristic, dark visual aesthetic of the AR/VR universe into the browser without compromising load times or SEO performance.
Solution
Player Dashboard: Developed a modular player profile interface to inspect creature stats, manage equipment, track match history, and customize avatars. Cross-Platform Social Infrastructure: Implemented a global tournament bracket system with automated registration, spectator lobbies, and scalable real-time chat for seamless player communication. In-Game Marketplace & Crafting: Built an open trading platform featuring auctions and direct peer-to-peer exchange, along with alchemy mechanics for crafting elixirs (Lixars) and dismantling or upgrading gear. Dynamic Balance & Analytics System: Engineered an elemental counter matrix, a matchmaking algorithm (MMR) for fair opponent pairing, and an automated data collection system for balancing creature stats.
